Information we collect
- Order information: name, email, shipping address, phone number (optional) and what you ordered.
- Payment information: processed by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number.
- Emails you send or sign up with: when you join the Ski Lab or contact us.
- Website and device data: pages viewed, products viewed or added to your cart, purchases, device and browser type, and the site that sent you here. Our advertising tools collect this with cookies and pixels (see below).
- Anything you share with us: messages, photos or details you send when asking for help.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and support your orders.
- To send Ski Lab emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe in one click.
- To measure whether our ads work and show them to people likely to be interested, including people who have visited our site.
- To improve our products and website.
- To prevent fraud and spam.
Advertising and analytics tools
We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To do that, our site uses the Meta Pixel and the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads). They record events like page views, products viewed, items added to cart, checkout started and purchases, along with the order value. Meta and Google use cookies and may combine this with what they already know about their users to measure our ads and show them to the right people. We don't send them your card details.
We use this only to run and measure our own advertising. We don't sell lists of customers, and we never sell your information for money. Some state privacy laws, including Connecticut's and California's, treat using ad pixels like these as "sharing" or a "sale" for targeted advertising, so you have the right to opt out, and we make that easy.
How to opt out of targeted advertising
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our site automatically does not load the Meta Pixel or Google tag. Brave, DuckDuckGo and Firefox (with GPC turned on) support it.
- Email us: send a request to aj@eastcoastskiing.com and we won't use your information for targeted ads.
- Ad settings: you can also adjust ads in your Meta ad preferences and Google My Ad Center.

Who we share information with
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS) to deliver your order.
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) to take payment and prevent fraud.
- Advertising partners (Meta, Google) as described above.
- Service providers that run our site and email: Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection) and Resend (sending contact form and Ski Lab emails).
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what information we have about you and send you a copy.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your information (we keep order records that tax and accounting laws require us to keep).
- Stop using your information for targeted advertising.
- Stop sending you marketing emails.
